United Arab Emirates: 52nd UAE National Day

The 52nd UAE National Day festivities are in full swing, as both locals and expatriates don the vibrant colors of the national flag. Amidst the planning for evening events, even the royal family is joining in the celebration of Union Day. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, recently took to Instagram to share a unique unveiling moment featuring two statues.

In a captivating AI-generated video shared on Instagram stories, a helicopter gracefully hoists a large UAE flag, unveiling two imposing statues. These striking portrait busts of Sheikh Rashid and Sheikh Zayed proudly stand in front of the Dubai Police Headquarters.

The joyous occasion also witnessed the newest addition to Sheikh Hamdan’s family, baby Mohammed, actively participating in the festivities. Dressed in a charming traditional kandoorah, the young boy sported a jacket while cradling the UAE flag between his tiny palms. In an endearing photograph, he lovingly hugs the flag, his small figure partially covered by the national symbol.

This heartwarming image was shared by Sheikha Shaikha with a heartfelt caption: “May you remain esteemed, may you remain a source of pride, may you remain towering.”

The 52nd UAE National Day promises a series of grand celebrations and events. Across the country, flags will flutter proudly, while Expo City Dubai is set to host a spectacular show. As night falls, the sky itself will illuminate in the vibrant colors of the UAE, marking a splendid conclusion to the day’s festivities.
