Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon: to be released early, Know when?

Rebel Moon

Netflix revealed on Thursday that the highly anticipated space epic, Rebel Moon, is set to premiere on December 21 at 10 p.m. EST, a day earlier than its initially scheduled release date of December 22.

The brainchild of director Zack Snyder, renowned for his work on 300 and Justice League, Rebel Moon draws inspiration from iconic franchises such as Star Wars and Seven Samurai.

The film will be presented in two parts, with the titles Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire and Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver.

Sofia Boutella takes on the lead role of Kora, a enigmatic warrior residing in a tranquil colony situated on the outskirts of a galaxy. The colony faces an imminent threat from the forces of a tyrannical ruling entity. Tasked with the mission of assembling a group of skilled fighters to defy the oppressive Mother World, Kora gathers a diverse ensemble of warriors. This group comprises outsiders, insurgents, peasants, and war orphans from various worlds who share a common desire for redemption and revenge, as detailed in the official synopsis.

The ensemble cast includes notable names such as Djimon Hounsou, Charlie Hunnam, Michiel Huisman, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Jena Malone, and Ed Skrein. Netflix provided a teaser trailer in August, followed by a full-length trailer in November, generating heightened anticipation for the film.

While Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire is scheduled for its December 21 premiere, fans can look forward to Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver, which is slated for release on April 19.
